I’m not much of a writer but lately I’ve been feeling the urge too. I’m working on a short story that I hope to put on film. It is similar to this story. Don’t be too hard on me. Lol. I am open to critiques though. =)

I got to do my first remote with 103.5 WGRR Saturday at Snappy Tomato Pizza with Wendy and Bob! I enjoyed myself. Can’t go wrong with free pizza, cake, prizes, and wonderful people!

When I confessed to my EX’s questioning of my fidelity over a year ago, all she could say was “wow”. She seemed very taken aback by my answer. So today, when I was asked ‘why men cheat’ by a young lady during a Public Speaking event, I was initial hesitant to share the full conversation me and my EX had about her suspicion of my lack of loyalty.

Spriiiiing Forward!

Kicking off my spring right!….. Well trying too! I’ve fallen off the healthy bandwagon since The Daniel Fast I did back in January, but I’m anxious to get back in track. I’ll be walking (attempting) 3 times a week and hitting the gym twice a week! I tried recruiting some work out buddies but that was a fail so this will be a journey I’ll be on by myself….and that’s okay after all is my body, my fat smh =/
I just thought it would be fun to have a group of women and/or men working towards a common goal. Encouragement is always good but until I get that I’ll have to hold myself accountable. . Here goes nothing!

I exceeded my 10,000 steps goal in my first day out the gate! Whoot! Whoot! And that was just for 2 hours. Who knows what I’ll accomplish for the whole day! 10,512 steps, 4.7 miles, and 470 calories.

Had some buddies join me on my walk/jog today!

Self Diploma and Hi-Tek hold auditions for Cincinnati Summer Concert Series

Today is the last day to snag you a spot in the line up for the Cincinnati Summer Series 2014. This concert will take place every Saturday on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s free to audition for all ages and genres. Candidates must pepare a 2 minute peformance that they will perform in front of the judges panel Cincinnati’s Self and Hi-Tek. This concert will start May 31st and run until August 30th 2014. You still have time to get down there today, auditions are over at 8! Good luck to everyone… especially 3 of the many candidates that auditioned who are some of my classmates as well as a Ohio Center for Broadcasting graduate: Rashawn Brown (DJ So Cinsere), Mariah Means (Riah Bella), and Rico Amos.

Cincinnati Author releases her 1st book!

Cincinnati Author Luxe Thompson releases her first book “Transcendence.” The book is about a character named Alexandra Hunt who is haunted by her past, but lives a content life working for a charitable organization and battling insomnia. Evan Ashe has it all. Well, almost. Finding someone to share his life with has become impossible. Will a not-so-chance meeting and fate bring them together or will a more powerful and scary force push them apart?

Luxe says. “I began writing seriously years ago but I never had the courage to finish and actually publish it for the public to read and hopefully enjoy. With kids, work, school, etc…life had it’s way of slowing me down. Over my winter break from classes last year, I sat down and I just started to write Transcendence. It’s about Alex who is a lot like me and Evan who has his own troubles depsite the fact that everyone thinks he has it all together Something neither of them understand brings them together. I think many of us have experienced these kind of “meetings” and with these characters and their pasts, we’ll see just how strong the force to keep them together is or isn’t.”

Michael Jackson…… YOU ARE THE FATHER!

Apparently the late Michael Jackson has a love child out here in these streets! 80’s R&B singer Miki Howard who was then managed by Joe Jackson has a son who says that he is MJ’s son! His reason for coming out now is unknown but I have a inkling that it may be money, fame, and ummm to try and jump start his little pop career. Brandon Howard, who goes by the name B. Howard states in the video below that “I am not behind this” referring to the story being leaked to the press.

Coincidentally Miki Howard went by the name “Billy” back in the 80’s and what were the lyrics on Mj’s hit song “Billie Jean?” Listen and you be the judge!
